Background Information

As this is my first blog, I wanted to test things out by providing some background information on "The Eadens Family of Three". This blogging thing is very new to me, so I am going to give it a shot - based on my friend Dana's advice. She was talking about how a blog is a great way to keep track of documenting information on your life. Once it's on the internet - it's there forever. So, this is a blog I wanted to create to document the wonderful moments in life that tend to just "happen". So, anyway, here is a background on our family.

Jeremy and I (Danielle) met in July of 1997. He was going to be a senior in high school, and I was going to be a sophomore. We got married on August 14, 2004. We bought our first house on Oakbrook Drive in July 2004. Carson, our four legged son, came into our life October 2004. After a few years of it just being us, we decided to start a family of our own. We found out we were expecting on March 12, 2008. Brooke Gabrielle Eadens was born by C-Section on October 20, 2008.

As of this date, Brooke is now 21 months old, and makes me laugh every single day. There is not a day that goes by that she doesn't say something or do something that makes me laugh. This blog is intended to document all of these funny things along the way of her growing up. It's probably also going to be much more than that...but as of right now, that's my goal.

  1. You will be SO glad you did this. I journal for Savannah (started when she was just a few months old, before we had a computer). Anytime she asks "how old was I when . . ." or whatever, I just say "It's in the book". She still loves to go get it after I've written in it to see what I've put now. Brooke will love this later, and it will have so many precious memories.

  2. I am very excited about this! I think it will be a great thing to look at in the future. I have all of her "firsts" written down in her baby book, but I wanted another place to share the funny stories. Seems like everytime I break out the video camera, she stops doing whatever she was doing that was so darn cute in the first place.
