It's not a Toy!!

Just a short update here to share a funny story.

The other night, Jeremy and I were tickling Brooke. I started to tickle her butt, and then she turned around and said "No, Mommy...my butt is not a toy". Jeremy and I just stopped dead in our tracks and started to laugh.

Not really sure where she got that from - but either way, we thought it was adorable...and hysterical!!

All things Baby....

Well, we scheduled the day Baby Girl Eadens will make her entrance into the world. She will be here no later than September 12th, 2011. That's 9 weeks from today. GULP! Right now, she's the size of a head of lettuce and is 15 inches and 3 pounds. Hard to believe there's almost a full sized baby in there!

I love this part of pregnancy where the baby moves all the time, and I can feel the rolling around, kicking, and hiccups. It's quite amazing.

I have not been as swollen this pregnancy - thank Goodness because with Brooke, my ankles were so big they ran into my thighs! Plus, it's always a good thing to be able to wear your wedding ring while pregnant! One thing I have been getting more of this pregnancy? Braxton Hicks Contractions - especially at night. I feel them at least once an hour or so - and some of them can catch me off guard. Makes me wonder if this one will come early! Oh how work would just love that ;)

We are in the name discussion/argument stage of pregnancy, and we think we have a first name. We just need to come up with a middle name for her. It's the same problem we had with Brooke. I am sure something will seem just right.

I go back to the doctor later this month for my last monthly appointment. It's getting all too real! And I am hoping that we file a tax return before she gets here. Starting to worry about that!

The next thing on the agenda? To unpack all of Brooke's baby stuff - rewash it, sort it, and organize toys, bottles, blankets, etc. Hard to believe that in just nine short weeks, we will be welcoming a new addition to our family.
